Probably when a student knocks on your class door and asks " Hey, may I borrow a calculator?" Are you one of the 10% in your class who will be willing to borrow him the calculator he desperately needs or are you the 90% who will just ignore him and act like you don't have it? Are you ? I get that you're afraid when you borrow someone your stuff, it never comes back to you and when you ask the person where your stuff is, he/she will be like " I don't know, I thought I gave you back?" And you'll be wearing your poker face on, trying to hide the anger inside of you and tightening your fists not the slap their faces. Do you feel like that? Or you're just cool with it because the stuff didn't really matter to you anyway.
Now take yourself as an example. You're desperate for a Geography textbook because you didn't bring yours and if you don't enter back to class with the textbook in your hands, you're in deep shit. You're teacher is gonna be so damn piss you have no idea what the hell she's gonna do to you. You then rush out of class and go from classes to classes to get one book you now care about the most at that very moment. After all the classes you went, no one was willing to lend you a textbook because they were selfish. They didn't want you touching their stuff or they were just to lazy to take their books out because they don't care and all you have in your mind right now is the word "Selfish". You stomp back to class with empty hands and you're dead.
But what if someone did borrow you their textbooks. You would be super happy right? You would thank the person so much because well, he/she helped you out. It was because of that person who borrowed you the book got you out of trouble.
See how lending someone your stuff to someone can change what happens? It's simple, don't be selfish. you never know what you can do by just borrowing someone your calculators, textbook, pens and etc. It won't kill you.Today's post was gay but yeah you love me. ;)
